PPOA members have two races to decide in 2020:
Unit 612 – LASD Sergeants/Lieutenants
Eligible PPOA members in this unit will be asked to elect two directors from the five candidates running for office. In alphabetical order, they are:
Unit 621 – LASD Custody Assistants
Eligible PPOA members in this unit will be asked to elect one director from the two candidates running for office. In alphabetical order, they are:

Law Enforcement Technician Jim Blankenship, Commander Carlos Marquez and Retired Sergeant Jim Schallert are running unopposed for their respective seats and will be automatically re-elected.
Per PPOA bylaws, ballots and candidate statements will be mailed to eligible members on October 21st. Completed ballots will be due back by November 18th and a ballot count will be conducted at PPOA on November 20th.
