When Union Members Fight Together, They Win Together

Greetings, fellow members. I hope you all had a merry Christmas and a happy and safe new year.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and vote. I am humbled and honored to have been selected to represent all members of PPOA in Unit 612. It is an honor to serve as your PPOA Board of Directors representative. I look forward to making a difference in our union.

Our members are hungry for change. Change doesn’t just happen; we will make it happen. We will fight together and win together because we do the work. This is our Department, and it’s high time we take it back. We will improve our current and future working conditions. The Board of Directors cannot do this alone. I am asking all members to get involved in improving our working conditions and stand together to make a difference.

We are going through trying times. It is still being determined where we stand on COVID-related issues, Senate Bill 2, and other issues and attacks by special interest groups. Our union strengthens us, but we must unite and fight these battles.

We’ll come together. We’ll stand together. We’ll fight together. 

For better contracts. 

For better salary and benefits. 

For better training. 

For fairness and justice for everyone.
