National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Candlelight Vigil

Each year, hundreds of names of officers killed in the line of duty are engraved on the walls of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC. These names are then read aloud during the annual Candlelight Vigil to memorialize those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Wreath Laying Ceremony at Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

2024 Police Unity Tour

PPOA and ALADS were proud to provide support for approximately 100 members participating in the 2024 Police Unity Tour. The 3-day cycling event kicked off in New Jersey before winding through Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. The event culminated with the riders joining more than 2,000 fellow peace officers from all over the nation as they finished the ride together in Washington DC, where they received an emotional reception from supporters, colleagues and family members of fallen officers.
